New Website for RSBY

RSBY relaunched its website with a new face last week sometime. The address of the website is www.rsby.in The new website is more user friendly and easy to navigate. The main highlight of this website are as follows:
  • Latest information and data about RSBY is available through this website
  • Viewers can see on the front page itself the no. of smart cards which have been issued till now.
  • In the scheme status page, RSBY enrollment and empanelment data is available at National, State and District level
  • The contact of State Nodal Agency and the Insurer for each State has also been provided on the website
  • Another new addition to the website is the new logo of RSBY which highlights the aspect of protection to a five member family
  • A separate media page is available now but at present there are very few media reports available on the page.
Overall this web site is quite an improvement over the earlier one. However few more things can be added in due course of time like data on utilisation of services by beneficiaries.

    can hospitals give there rsby covered patients cash back after treating them ?
    if they can this scheme will be a total failure and will cause great loot of taxpayers money.
    patients or card holders would get themselves treated for no disease but for money, and this health card would start functioning as a ATM card for them

    certain public sector hospitals are operating at a much cheaper rates then what is offered by rsby.
    Now a private hospital empanelled with rsby can take the benefit of card and carry the patient to a cheaper public hospital get them treated and again bring them back to their private nursing home.
    This is happening at a large scale and some private hospitals have to take wards on rent to accomodate patients/card holders.
    can anyone explain such a inflation of patients just after issuance of cards

    In both the cases mentioned above, one has to understanding the basics of RSBY which are different from any other health insurance scheme. Ther is no cash back in RSBY. Hence, there is no likelihood of "loot". Don't worry, RSBY is gradually being recognized as a safe scheme where tax payers money is used judiciously.
    In the second case, I admire the imagination of the author. The primary issue is of treating the patient. The beneficiary also has a choice to choose the hospital. Hence, if he is not satisfied with the services of one hospital, he can go to another one. Ther could still be mal-practices as suggested. However, the real check will come from the Insurance Companies who have to pay to the hospital. In view of their business interest, they are keeping a close watch on what is happening in a hospital

    1. We were enpenelled in RSBY in 2009-2010. Till date we are not paid amount due to us ( onlt part payment is done) The TPA is not reponding to our querries. What is the arrangement to launch a complaint.

    APPOLO MUNICH INSURANCE & M.D,INDIA TPA POONA MAHARASHTRA. BOTH ARE CHEATED COMPANIES AND THEY LOST GOVRMENT ,BPL FAMILY AND HOSPITALS THOSE ARE ON PANNEL.THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO DO WORK.BOTH COPANIES DRS ARE FROADED AND THEY LOST TO COMPANIES AND COPANIES STAFF ARE NOT PROPER QUALIFIED .THEY HAVE NO RESPECT TO OTHER PERSON & VIP.HUMBLE REQUEST IN FEATURE THOSE HAVE NO GIVE CHANCE.OTHERWISE THEY ARE LOOTING TO INDIAN GOV.MAHARASHTRA GOV.IN MAHASHTRA POONA & NAGPUR SIDE THEY WORK LIKE ANY BULLOCK.HERE IS MAJOR FROD IN DR SIDES THOSE WORK IN COPANIES OFFICES,WHY GAVE THEM CHANCE,IN LETEST YEAR.HOW MANY FUNDS GET FROM GOV.AND HOW DISTRUBUTED TO FAMILY.WE HERBALY REQUEST THEY ARE EARNING MONEY AND BECOME BIG ON GOV.OBIVIOUS INDIAN PEOPLE MONEY.

    Very very bad reputation of Appolo Munich Health & TPA M.D. India In Maharashtra on RSBY SKIM.Gov.Think about them and do not give chance in feture because they are not work proper in maharashtra.For Dr.Hospital They are Killer.so In feture if both companies will give work Doctors and hospital run away.
